Security Control of Ships in Ports

 

 

1- Every vessel is subject to security control when within the boundaries of a port by officers duly authorised by the pertinent GCC Government in compliance with Chapter XI-2 of the SOLAS Convention, always as amended.

 

2- The competent or designated authority may extend the security requirements of Chapter XI-2 of the SOLAS Conventions to be applied in respect to any commercial, recreational or fishing ship or traditional craft, or body being towed, regardless of its purpose, make, flag, trade, propulsion or size, which shall be so published.
